Dr. Weder specializes in medical management of hypertension. He is Co-Director of the Vascular Medicine Program, and has clinical Interests in hypertension severity assessment, pathophysiology of essential hypertension, renal tubular dysfunction in hypertension, antihypertensive pharmacology, and vascular medicine. His research interests include: renal lithium and sodium handling, red blood cell markers for hypertension, genetics and genetic epidemiology of hypertension.
