PainIf you have pain that is not controlled by medication that you were prescribed when you left, check the instructions on the bottle again to be sure you are taking it appropriately. If you are limiting yourself to taking it only when you have pain, you may be waiting too long & by then it's too severe for the medication to work. Take it more regularly. If you are still too uncomfortable, please call. BleedingIf your operative site is bleeding, and it's not too heavy, apply gentle pressure to the site. If it doesn't stop, or it's more than a half-teaspoon or so in an hour, follow the directions above to contact a clinician who can help. MobilityIf you have questions about mobility, or driving or other activities, please contact the clinic at (888) 287-1082 during business hours, or again if it's emergent, page the resident covering the service at (734) 936-4000 or come to the emergency room. Livonia patients need to call our office at (734) 432-7662 during business hours, or the nurse at the Livonia Center for Specialty Care OR at 734-936-6266 Pager #12721 after hours. If they cannot help with your question, you may be routed to the UH resident at (734) 936-4000. |
