Welcome to the Section of Vascular Surgery at the University of Michigan Health System. As colleagues in care, our interest is to support optimal treatment for individuals you refer to us for consultation as well as those that become our mutual patients. Call our clinic at (888) 287-1082. Our surgeons perform all aspects of vascular care including a full range of open surgical and minimally invasive interventions. We also have expertise in coagulation and risk factor modifications. We work jointly with a multidisciplinary team, including Cardiologists, Radiologists and specialists in management of hypertension and other cardiovascular risk factors. As well as the usual clinical evaluation and surgical treatment options, we operate a noninvasive Diagnostic Vascular Ultrasound unit. Our technicians perform a full range of duplex ultrasonography for the diagnosis of carotid occlusive and venous thromboembolic disease, and doppler waveform analysis for the evaluation of arterial insufficiency.
