This laboratory performs noninvasive ultrasound studies for venous and arterial diseases, including duplex ultrasonography for the diagnosis of carotid occlusive and venous thromboembolic disease, and doppler waveform analysis for the evaluation of arterial insufficiency. The current laboratory performs both outpatient and inpatient testing procedures. Approximately 1100 tests are performed each month.
