Minimally Invasive

The Vascular Surgery section now offers minimally invasive therapy for thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, carotid, renal and peripheral vascular diseases. Technological advances in catheter based therapy such as cutting balloons and lower profile stents allow us to treat patients in less invasive ways with shorter hospital stay and recovery. We incorporate a team of vascular surgeons, nurse practitioners and physicians assistants in a comprehensive program from office visit to post procedure follow up to ensure excellent care. Devices only available from participation in national clinical trials are also offered such as the TX-2 Thoracic stent graft trial (COOK) currently under investigation. Collaboration with other specialties including cardiology and Interventional Radiology allows for complete state of the art care.
