We are committed to improving our patient and referring physician satisfaction. Using established algorithms, our nursing and clerical staff gather pertinent information regarding patients referred to us, so that data can be reviewed prior to the office visit, thereby expediting the actual consultation with us. The patient's visit is coordinated so that when possible, additional studies such as CT scans, barium swallow, pulmonary function tests, etc., as well as necessary consultations, are obtained on the same day. Educational videotapes, brochures, support groups, and other sources of information are available to our patients.

Reports to our referring physicians are mailed from the office within 48 hours of the patient visit. A toll free number (1-888-8THORAX) is available to physicians who wish to call us for information. We may also be reached 24 hours a day through M-Line, our hospital paging system (734-936-6267).
