Dr. Wei Jiang is a Research Investigator in Division of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Section of General Surgery. Dr. Jiang received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry at the Monash University, Australia. She was a Research Scientist in Henry Ford Health System before joined the faculty at University of Michigan in March 2011. Dr. Jiang's primary research interest is molecular targeted cancer therapy. She investigated the molecular mechanisms of brain tumorgenesis and its response to molecular targeted treatments. She is also interested in the tumor invasion, migration and metastasis. Her current research is focused on the molecular mechanism of colon cancer metastasis and the development of new therapeutic interventions. |
