biography

Linnea S. Hauge, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor and Educational Specialist in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Hauge received her Ph.D. in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Utah, her Master's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois-Chicago, and her Bachelor's of Music Education degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Dr. Hauge's entry into surgical education in 1998 was preceded by faculty appointments in Kinesiology at Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo and Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville where she was involved in teacher education, and psychology of sport and physical activity. Prior to joining the faculty at U-M in 2007, Dr. Hauge served as an Associate Professor and Educational Specialist in the Department of General Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
