The Intestinal Failure and Short Bowel Syndrome Multi-Disciplinary Team is committed to the care of seriously ill infants and children.

Our goal is to approach children with these disorders with both current and novel approaches. The Team continues to be nationally recognized for its clinical and basic science research.

Recruiting and retaining outstanding teachers and researchers benefits our patients, students and programs. Often this is done through endowed professorships, which can both honor past faculty and protect research time for future faculty. VICTORIA STABLER RESEARCH FUND

This fund was established by a former patient cared for by our group. Contributions to this Fund allow us to perform basic science research in the fields of total parenteral nutrition, parenteral nutrition-associated liver disease, and short bowel syndrome.
