Sharon Aronovich DMD, FRCD(C) serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor for Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the University of Michigan Health System. He is also the Assistant Program Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program.
Dr. Aronovich obtained his dental degree from McGill University and underwent residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital of Saint Raphael/Yale-New Haven Hospital. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Aronovich is a member of many national associations including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Cleft Palate – Craniofacial Association, the American Society of TMJ Surgeons, the American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, the C.J. Lyons Academy, and the Michigan Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Dr. Aronovich has been involved in global outreach programs serving children with conditions such as cleft lip and palate in India, China, and most recently Mexico, where he has partnered with Smiles International Foundation.
