biography

Biography

Dr. Aronovich is the assistant program director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program. He obtain his dental degree from McGill University, residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital of Saint Raphael/Yale-New Haven Hospital, and a fellowship in Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His clinical interests include orthognathic surgery, cleft lip and palate, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, pediatric and adult sleep apnea, cysts and tumors of the jaw, surgical management of TMJ disorders, implantology, and facial trauma. Current research pursuits include clinical outcomes of TMJ surgery, sleep apnea, QOL and treatment effectiveness for patients with JIA and TMJ involvement, tissue engineering for bone regeneration in rodent calvarial defects, psychosocial changes after cheiloplasty in developing nations, and periodontal/osseous attachment levels after alveolar cleft repair.
