Dr. Weiquan Li is Research Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan Health System. Dr. Li received his B.S. degree from the Department of Chemistry at Yunnan Univeristy, China, in 1985. Dr. Li continued with his studies at the Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry in February of 1998. Dr. Li went on to do his postdoctoral training in the Department of Biological Chemistry at the University of Michigan, from March of 1998 through June of 2004. In 2001, Dr. Li became a Senior Resaerch Associate in the Department of Biological Chemistry and in February of 2005 he joined the faculty as a Research Investigator. In July of 2006, he joined the Division of Immunotherapy under the auspicies of the Section of General Surgery.
