![]() Pediatric Surgery RotationExperience in pediatric surgery is gained through rotations on this service in the first, second, and fourth years of training. The objective of the rotation is to provide a broad-based perspective on the nature of surgical problems occurring in children, including neonates. The service provides a heavy operative experience for junior-level house officers and extensive exposure to common surgical problems. Senior-level trainees participate at a more advanced level and regularly perform complex surgical procedures with the attending faculty and fellows. All levels of trainees participate in the care of preoperative and postoperative patients in clinic. |
