Aparna Kolli, M.D., M.S. is a Clinical Lecturer in the Division of Surgical Oncology, Section of General Surgery. She is also the Breast Surgery Fellow at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Kollis clinical interests are breast oncology and the management of malignant breast disease. Her research interests focus on neo-adjuvant non-responders, phenotypic conversion, and neo-adjuvant endocrine therapy. Dr. Kolli completed her General Surgery residency at SUNY Downstate, Brooklyn, NY. She attended Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, MI. Dr. Kolli also received a Masters of Science degree in biology from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh PA. Her Masters thesis focused on testing putative new compounds that block growth of estrogen dependent breast cancers. She received her undergraduate degree, in Chemistry with a minor in Womens Studies, from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. Dr. Kolli also participated in translational research at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. |
